Sometimes I feel the practicality of the space left behind while focusing on the beautiful interior. So, in today's newsletter, I have shared some of the spaces where I think we should focus more on the practicality of the space than the aesthetics. After this, I will share how Conceal Mixture Fitting is done and then we will look at Detail of a Wall Hung Toilet.

3 Tips for Efficient Design |
|
|
Tip 1) Maximising Usability
- Space Optimization: Hooks take significantly less space than towel bars, making them perfect for restrooms shared by the entire family. This optimization can result in a cleaner and more ordered appearance.
- Height and Accessibility: Mounting five robe hooks at a height of 68 inches provides practical benefits. This height is suitable for the entire family, allowing everyone to conveniently hang their towels and robes.
- Versatility: Unlike a traditional towel bar, which typically accommodates only a single towel, robe hooks provide versatility. They can hold towels of various sizes and thicknesses, as well as robes and other items.
- Efficient Drying: Hooks promote efficient drying by allowing towels to hang loosely, maximizing airflow. This can help prevent the musty smell that can develop when towels are bunched up on a towel bar.
By opting for robe hooks over a traditional towel bar, you create a more functional and visually appealing bathroom environment that caters to the needs of the whole family
Tip 2) Elevated Comfort
- Opting for a 36-inch high vanity instead of the standard 30-inch offers significant ergonomic and comfort advantages. The increased height reduces strain on the back and shoulders, making daily tasks like washing hands or brushing teeth more comfortable, especially for taller individuals.
- This adjustment aligns better with ergonomic principles, promoting better posture and reducing the need to bend over uncomfortably.
- Additionally, the higher vanity provides more storage space underneath, accommodating larger items or allowing for optional seating if desired, enhancing both functionality and comfort in the bathroom space.
Tip 3) Optimizing Mirror Placement
- Avoiding the placement of a mirror between windows is recommended as it creates a spatial void that can distract from the view outside. Instead, strategically use mirrors to enhance the perception of space in a small room.
- Placing mirrors on walls opposite windows can reflect natural light, making the room feel brighter and more open. Mirrors can also create an illusion of depth, expanding the perceived dimensions of the space.
When carefully positioned, mirrors can complement the room's layout and décor, effectively maximizing both natural light and the sense of spaciousness without compromising the external view that windows provide.

Concealed mixture - A concealed mixer blends hot and cold water while being installed inside the wall, leaving only the control levers and spout visible for a sleek, minimalist look. This design enhances bathroom and kitchen aesthetics, reduces clutter, and offers precise temperature control. Popular for their clean appearance and space-saving benefits, concealed mixers come in various styles to suit modern interiors.
CPVC pipe - CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes are favoured in plumbing and industrial applications for their heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and durability. Made by chlorinating PVC resin, they handle higher temperatures and resist chemical degradation better than standard PVC. Easy to install and maintain, CPVC pipes are ideal for hot and cold water distribution in residential, commercial, and industrial systems, ensuring reliable long-term performance.
Spouts - Spouts are a crucial part of faucets, directing water flow into sinks, bathtubs, and other receptacles. Available in various shapes, sizes, and styles, they cater to different functional and aesthetic needs, such as high-arc spouts for large pots or pull-out spouts for kitchen flexibility. Generally made from stainless steel, brass, or plastic, spouts ensure a steady, controlled water flow while enhancing the fixture's overall design.
